Plans featuring Pelican Dental Concepts are simple to implement. A consultant first uses the business's demographic data to help an employer design a plan. Any of the Pelican Concept plans can be fully funded (employer paid) or voluntary (employee/paid). Contributions go into a separate fund.
The employer can self-administer the plan using specialized software. Many businesses, however, choose a leading licensed third-party administrator (TPA), both to design plans and to administer them. These experienced TPAs specialize in self-funded dental plans. The simplicity of the claims process keeps overhead very low.
